Celebrating an Incredible Career

As Philip steps into retirement, we wish him a restful yet fulfilling new chapter.

After an extraordinary career spanning almost five decades, we bid farewell to Philip Graham-Clare as he embarks on a well‑deserved retirement.

From starting out as an apprentice electrician to founding ESP in 1997, acquiring a Peterborough business in 2007, launching the Edinburgh and Halifax offices in 2012, opening Manchester with James in 2017, and most recently transitioning to Executive Chair in August 2025. Philip’s started ESP with a vision to provide a customer focused business and quickly built up a client list of household names providing expert M&E support advice and technical assurance. Business has gone from strength to strength building on these foundations which have allowed ESP to stand alongside and push out some of the biggest names in M&E Consultancy over the years.

We’re honoured to have worked alongside Philip and celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind. His recent presence at our recent ESP Christmas events made for a heartfelt and memorable send‑off, filled with gratitude, festive cheer, and cherished moments.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment and for shaping ESP into the success story it is today. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all.
